The second round of the “Get métier!” Program competition took place on June 15-16, 2020! This program is destined for young people with special needs who, despite their difficult situation, strive to overcome barriers, get a specialty and use the knowledge and skills gained in the future. Every year the Foundation announces a competition among graduates of special schools in Kazakhstan. Thanks to this program, the children have the opportunity to find a profession, and for the family it is a serious financial support. This year, 14 applications were submitted by graduates of special schools in Almaty, Almaty region and Taraz. The competitive selection consists of three stages.At the first stage, the commission reviews an online application, which contains a competitive essay, where the applicant writes about himself, his family, his hobbies, relationships in the family and the environment, the reasons for choosing a profession, as well as information about academic performance, prizes received in subject Olympiads and other achievements, recommendations from teachers.The second stage is an interview with a contestant, during which commission get to know the contestants, they present themselves, talk in more detail about themselves, their professional and personal goals. Applicants who have passed the first two stages provide documents to assess the financial situation of their family.
