On May 31, 2019, the Yerzhan Tatishev Foundation Graduation Ceremony was held. The ninth graduation ceremony was held within the walls of a partner organization – Almaty University Management. This year, the Foundation released six graduates from its nest, a new generation of young specialists:

Aruzhan Magzomova, graduated from Almaty Management University. Aruzhan comes from the city of Uralsk. At the University, she studied marketing. Aruzhan tries to lead a healthy lifestyle and enjoys poetry. Student life was remembered by her bright weekdays and the useful experience that she gained during a trip on an exchange program in Japan.

Darkhan Kalibekov, a graduate of Suleyman Demirel University, majoring in finance. Darkhan was born and raised in the city of Semey, graduated from the Kazakh-Turkish Lyceum, speaks Kazakh, Russian, English and Turkish. Among the sports hobbies of Darkhan is judo. While studying at the University, he was an active volunteer, helping children from the orphanage to overcome barriers to communication and improve academic performance.

Madina Tokhtakhmetova, received a bachelor’s degree from Suleiman Demirel University with a degree in finance. Madina is from Almaty. Madina is a responsible and purposeful girl and always brings the job she has started to the end. She is also an active volunteer of the Foundation and the University.

Maria Terekhova, received a diploma from the Medical and Dental College of Professor Ruzuddinov with a degree in “dental technician”. During the selection in 2016, Maria subdued the Foundation staff with her confidence and energy. The rock climbing she was fond of became an integral part of her life – today Maria is a master of sports in rock climbing, she has more than twenty diplomas for 1,2,3 places at the Central Asian Championship and the Youth Cup of Kazakhstan in the disciplines “bouldering”, “difficulty ”,“ All-around ”. Represented Kazakhstan in the national team and the national youth team at the Asian, Central Asian, World Championships, European Climbing Youth Cup in 2013-2015. in Norway, Italy, Austria, Malaysia, Indonesia, Iran.

Asel Seytbek graduated from Turan College with a degree in law. In June 2017, she was selected for a grant by the Yerzhan Tatishev Foundation, while in the United States under the FLEX program. During the selection, she was distinguished by her determination and maturity, and during her studies she always showed excellent results. Asel plans to continue training in the chosen field.

Zhanerke Zhumagulova, a graduate of the Almaty Kazakh-Turkish humanitarian and technological college, specializing in computer technology and software. In 2015, Zhanerke passed a competitive selection and became a scholarship holder of the Fund. Zhanerke is fond of needlework, likes to play volleyball and basketball. Zhanerke, unfortunately, could not join our holiday, as she is undergoing treatment.

By tradition, the guests took a walk into the past, watching a video with the personnel of the competitive selection of 2015, 2016, as well as volunteer projects in which the guys participated during their studies at universities. Yerkin Nureldaemovich Tatishev, Chairman of the Fund’s Board of Trustees, and public figure, director of the Dom charity foundation and Mercy society Aruzhan Sain presented souvenirs to graduates and said parting words. In her congratulatory speech, Aruzhan Sain spoke about the obstacles that a person has to face on the way to his dream and wished the guys great enthusiasm, determination and patience. Erkin Nureldaemovich wished him success in his professional activities and shared his plans to improve approaches to the implementation of the Foundation’s educational programs, in particular, BesTіrek, a program for educating young entrepreneurs. On behalf of the Fund’s key partner, Almaty University Management, the Director of the Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation Development Ksenia Yuzhaninova-Karadenizli spoke. Among the honored guests of the event were Chairman of the Supervisory Board of KazPetrolGroup LLP Orazkhan Karsybekov, director of the corporate development department of KIMEP University Raushan Kanaeva, director of the department for work with graduates of Suleyman Demirel University Ramiz Suleymanovich Akhmetov, well-known cultural expert, translator, scriptwriter Zira Naurzbayeva Alp Tisham Alishaishaeva Alish Tishevaeva Alishbaishbaeva Alish and college representatives.

Graduates presented a short film about student everyday life to their guests and expressed deep gratitude for the opportunities that the Fund provided them. On behalf of the parents acted mother Asel Seytbek. With tears of joy, she thanked the Fund, noted the importance of such social projects for children with disabilities and wished the Fund further prosperity.

The evening was decorated with performances by graduates and scholars: Aruzhan Magzomova with the poem “Arman” by M. Shakhanov, and Aigerim Karieva with the song “Otan ana” by B. Shukenov. At the end of the solemn part of the Ceremony, the President of the Foundation, Dana Zhenisovna Zharikova, after her speech, put a burning candle into the hall as a sign of the participation of those present in the values ​​of the Fund.
